Clearbell launches project management team
Clearbell Capital LLP today announces the creation of an experienced project management team, which will ensure the business is best positioned to complete ongoing development projects amidst the coronavirus pandemic.
The new team integrates project management with the existing development management activities at Clearbell to help provide consistently high-quality project outcomes to drive returns for investors. The team will also be involved in managing projects for separate mandates on behalf of Clearbell.
The project managers have been working on the refurbishment of Kodak House, 65 Kingsway, which has now received planning permission. Plans include creating a new entrance off Keeley Street and the provision of a roof terrace. Other ongoing projects include the extension of a unit at Octagon Retail Park.
The project management team is led by Tom Allan, who joined Clearbell in April this year. Tom brings 45 years of experience in the construction industry, having been a Director at Doig & Smith for 20 years. He has worked across a variety of construction projects in both the public and private sectors, with a more recent focus on UK commercial property.
Tom is joined by Senior Project Manager Adam Wlodarczyk Black, who has over ten years’ experience in the property industry. Adam joined Clearbell in December 2019 from the property consultancy Hollis, having previously worked client-side in managing development projects.
Tom Allan, Head of Project Management at Clearbell Capital, said:
“While construction may have slowed amid lockdown, we are continuing to push ahead with our work, including securing planning permission and developing the design elements of some of our most ambitious capital projects. Despite the current uncertainty, it’s an exciting time to join the company and launch this new offer, to build on Clearbell’s strong track record of delivering for its investors”.
Nick Berry, Partner at Clearbell Capital, commented:
“We are delighted to have both Tom and Adam on board at this crucial time for the growth of our business. We’re confident that by bringing the project management team in-house, we’ll be able to deliver even better returns for our investors on both current and future development projects.”
